Council sacks 4 for offensive e-mails

(UK) 4 people who worked for Lancashire County Council have been sacked for sending offensive e-mails from their council e-mail accounts.

Funny enough, all 4 just happen to belong to a certain faith, and for some strange reason, decided to download information from USB sticks brought in from home in which to construct and send out e-mails on their work accounts which compared the plight of Palestinians under Israel as similar to the plight of Jews under Nazi Germany which included very graphic pictures of dead people.

Although 14 council workers were suspended, only 4 (bloody hard to sack anybody who works for the council in the UK) non-union members were sacked, with another 5 receiving formal warnings.

Strangely enough, Darwen councillor Salim Mulla also sent out that offensive e-mail to 63 colleagues, but had no disciplinary action taken against him. He sent it in January, not believing it was offensive. Which is why I deem this strange. Have you ever heard of a Muslim who didn't take offense at anything which maligns Islam, his home country or his honour?

Yet Counciller Mulla not only thought he was doing nothing wrong, he didn’t stop to think about his employers policy of using the intranet system for sending inappropriate material. A mindset he still subscribes to when questioned about the whole episode. I quote:
'I have supported Holocaust Memorial Day every single year and I will continue to do that.

'But if there are other similar atrocities going on, not just in Gaza, I will say they are not acceptable.'
I’m afraid I have to ask: just how does he support Holocaust day? As I honestly do believe that his outlook on the whole subject is vastly different from the vast majority of British people, and as for him speaking out about similar atrocities, can anybody point me in the direction of when and where Councilor Mulla spoke out about:
  • Sudan’s killing fields
  • Bangladesh genocide
  • Saddam's killing fields
  • Iran's killings fields
  • Taliban killing fields
  • Thai killing fields
because for the life in me I’ve yet to see a Muslim spokesman in the UK bitch about any of the above. Yet Israel which hasn’t 1/10,000th of the blood of Muslims on its hands as the faithful have, is deemed a Nazi state.

Even stranger is when the news of the suspensions came out, the senior vice chairman for the Lancashire council of mosques spoke to the media about how his group had been in contact with County Hall relating to the suspensions. He said:
“I believe it was an exchange of views on the Israeli Palestine situation.
And his name?
Councillor Salim Mulla.

Funny old world or what?
