The British Dental Council and how it became the Butt of Islam

(UK) In the UK, a dentist who was up before The General Dental Council for gross misconduct for the second time, has been cleared and allowed to carry on work as a dental practitioner.

You see, Omer Butt would only treat Muslims on the Nation Health Service by informing them they had to conform to his Islamic dress rules. So that entailed women putting on the hijab, men to remove gold and getting male Muslims to enforce their females to do so or else they could go elsewhere. The damndest thing is that in 2007, Butt was found guilty of gross misconduct for forcing a woman who was in acute pain to put on a headscarf before he would treat her.

But since then, more allegations have been made about how a dentist who gets paid by the NHS enforces his faith onto others simply because they are in need of treatment. According the idiots at the General Dental Council, “the events took place "a considerable time ago” and thus concluded that his fitness to practise is not impaired.

Yeah, right. At the NHS in the UK, you cannot wear your crucifix at work (health and safety reasons) or even offer to pray for a dying patient. But a dentist who is getting paid by the NHS is allowed to enforce his pious religious beliefs onto others and is allowed to carry on getting paid by the NHS.

Yup, that sounds about right for the UK.

I won't even mention what happened when Mr Butt drove his car into a policewoman.
